To increase image refresh rate, the amount of data being sent from the DVR needs to be reduced or the available bandwidth needs to be increased. To reduce the amount of data flowing from the
DVR:
1. Use a single camera view rather than a multi-view.
2. Decrease image resolution
To increase the bandwidth available to a specific user or all users:
1. Increase the bandwidth of the connection if possible (eg. from dial-up to xDSL)
2. Remove or relax the configurable bandwidth restriction settings (if applicable)
3. Reduce the number of simultaneous users by assigning passwords for authorized users thereby preventing connections from unauthorized users.
