Below are reasons why Dedicated Micros (Network Viewer) products cannot be considered vulnerable as outlined below:


• Single embedded application cannot be modified without source code
• Sprite does not run MS Windows
• Sprite does not run a UNIX like system
• Platform is not binary compatible with Intel x86 based applications (i.e.: Win32 application / virus)
• The web server is bespoke and cannot call external applications (all CGI's are built into embedded application)
• FTP and Telnet services are not available in normal operating mode
• There is no JAVA capability in the web server
